ROLE DESCRIPTION

You will play a key role when dealing with both existing and new customers, increasing our profitability and sales revenue through; excellence in customer service, an informed consultative approach, offering advice, information and guidance regarding the benefit of our solutions to our customers business needs.

The key elements of the role are:

  • Engage existing/ prospective customers in dialogue that creates trust while developing opportunities
  • Initiate and progress sales opportunities across both new and existing customers
  • Committed to departmental and individual quotas/goals
  • Work closely across the team, particularly with account managers; generating leads and customer requirements accordingly
  • Meet company expectations for excellent customer service
  • Update and keep accurate our customer database (sales force) as necessary
  • Address all customer queries in a professional, polite and accurate manner
  • Take relevant notes/ information on all customer interaction for future use (recording in salesforce as appropriate)
  • Order processing as required
  • Maintain a friendly, professional attitude at all times
  • Operate as part of the team, but with the ability to function independently as required
  • Achieve agreed Key Performance Indicators, incorporating sales and lead generation
  • Excellent ability to provide reporting and data analysis as required
  • Ability to handle rejection and to continue striving towards success

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Leaving certificate or equivalent required, a degree is a plus but not essential
  • Ideally 2 years’ experience in a sales related role, preferably in telesales (however strong candidates without this experience will be considered)
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • CRM experience, ideally Salesforce
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Excellent telephone etiquette
  • Fluent in English
