Consortium of four Irish and international IT companies team up to launch new service called ‘SLA-1’ which offers complete tailored cloud service to clients

A consortium of four Irish and international IT companies - AirSpeed Telecom, PLC Partners, Sungard and TEKenable - have teamed up to launch a new service which delivers a full suite of tailored cloud services to companies and organisations interested in moving to the cloud.

Entitled SLA-1, the unique initiative offers clients a complete solution to private cloud computing requirements through the delivery of secure, flexible and scalable services which match the individual business needs of the company.

SLA-1 combines strong local industry understanding with international transaction processing experience to provide best practice technology and infrastructure, proven tailored cloud solutions and the highest quality delivery capability. The partnership also offers clients a faster response to new application delivery, leaner processes and greater efficiency.

While benefitting from the vast experience of four leading companies, clients only have to deal with one single point of contact and only have to sign one Service Level Agreement, meaning that all aspects of the private cloud service, from network infrastructure to web applications, are underpinned by one single bill.

The complete cloud service package offered by SLA-1 includes:

• Education – half day workshop on understanding cloud and what it could mean for the business
• Feasibility Assessment – guaranteed deliverables including scope and cost of potential cloud migrationDesign & Architecture
• Implementation & Migration

Including
• Infrastructure
• Connectivity
• Project Management
• 24/7/365 Customer Support

Customers can choose from a number of approaches to transitioning to a private cloud:

• Move test and development environments to the private cloud
• Transition peripheral (non-core)systems to the private cloud
• Move core systems into the new cloud environment

The SLA-1 team is hosting a series of half-day workshops for Irish organisations who would like to assess the feasibility and benefit of moving their IT systems to the private cloud.

Brendan Martin, Sales Director, AirSpeed Telecom says as cloud computing begins to become more and more of a reality for all organisations, the need to have a dedicated partner is even more important.

“Organisations who are transitioning their infrastructure to the cloud need simplicity and security, which is the reason why we have come to market with this single premium SLA. The SLA-1 partners are uniting our individual expertise in solution design, technology and infrastructure integration, network management and customer support. What customers will receive is a secure, tailored cloud service that matches their own business objectives.”
